Turning Over A New Leaf

All along I spend too much time
Standing on the sideline
Waiting for the storm to pass
Keeping my heads down
Silence is golden
Or so I though

But those were the days
Now I've come to learn
Every cloud has a silver lining
Some things are destinied to be
Others aren't meant to be

Now I'm learning how to dance in the rain
And the best part of all

I'll never let my ego and pride get the better of me
